NBA Playoffs: Series Tied in Both East and West

In the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics have come back from a 2-0 deficit to tie the series in Games 3 and 4. The latter just concluded with 93-91 on Overtime. It must have been a seat-gripping game for both of the teams' fans. Boston was leading by over 20 points in the 1st Quarter and Miami getting the score tied at 74 during the 3rd Quarter. As the clock stroked 0, the game was tied at 89 to go on an Overtime.

Rajon Rondo and Dwayne Wade
LeBron James and Paul Pierce were both fouled out during OT; and Rajon Rondo emerged as the hero. Of course, there are other names to contribute in the scores - Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen. The losing team, though, could blame it on the referees. There were wrong calls all over the game and they were ugly. Have you caught that double foul on James and Garnett? Unbelievable.

Meanwhile in the West.

I"m a big Spurs fan. So, I couldn't bring myself to publish this post after yesterday's debacle. The Spurs lost to the Thunders, 109-103. Now, the series is tied at 2-2 and Coach Popovich needs to rally his men to bring back the glory of their 20-0 winning streaks.

I was wondering what Tim Duncan's problem was. His defenses were too laxed and the jumpers were shooting past him like it's none of his business. I mean, come on! He's the big guy and he needs to get a grip of himself or it's 2009 all over again. Remember when they were swept by the Phoenix Suns?

Tim Duncan layup
The team's defense couldn't cope up with Thunder's scorers. Tony Parker couldn't even match the beast that is Kevin Durant. And what about Manu Ginobili? He's turned the ball over not just once or twice, but 6 times! I love you guys, I do! But, you will have to do better than the past 4 games. You're not the first seeded team in the West for nothing, right? I want to see you battle it out for the Finals again.

Anyway, let's just see what happens on Game 5 for both the East and West conferences. It's June 4 at San Antonio for West and June 5 at Miami for East.
