NASCAR Qualifying Results Out, Mark Martin Got Pole Position

To those of you who are following the current happenings in the NASCAR, you can now view the qualifying results for this Sunday's FedEx 400 race at the Dover International Speedway. You can check it out here

Mark Martin, No.55 Toyota

Mark Martin was the last driver to attempt at qualifying for Sunday's race and he turned in a lap of 158.297mph to win the pole position. He's the driver of the No.55 Toyota. This is his 3rd pole in 10 races for this season and his 54th to date. He's 53 years old, by the way. And isn't that neat? He's beaten 20-somethings! But, he'd only narrowly done so since he's just .005 seconds faster than Jimmie Johnson. The road is still long however since he's only 26th place in the overall Sprint Cup Standings. Still, a win's a win and that should call for celebration right?

Meantime, in the Nationwide Series, Joe Gibbs Racing got the 1-2-3 finish. Joey Logano finished a few laps ahead of Ryan Truex. Brian Scott finished 3rd while Danica Patrick finished 30th.
