On Sunday morning, before we went to visit Arnel, we watched the fight of Nonito Donaire. He fought Luis Maldonado from Mexico and the fight was held in Connecticut. Ever since i saw Donaire's first fight, i was impressed. He has a great fighting skill and impressive tactics when inside the ring. So, i was not surprised when the fight ended earlier than 12 rounds; in a Technical Knock Out at round 8 at that! So there, another pride for the country.
Then, when we arrived home at about 6pm, we were just in time to catch the evening news. Yey! Boom Boom and Aj Banal both came out victorious in their respective bouts held in Araneta Coliseum. Such great news, indeed!
So, now i am hoping that our team in the SEA Games will also come home victorious. Let's hope and pray for them> :)
